110-220V Hidden Touch and Door Sensor Switch for Cabinets
Why buyers source cabinet sensor switches from us
Hidden touch through wood, IR hand-wave, door-triggered and body sensors, so one supplier covers your whole furniture range.
Most models run on 12V or 24V DC at 36W to 120W, and a few, such as the AC-KZ, work on mains AC.
Mix models in one order from 2 pcs; most can take your logo, cable length or connector, and ship in 7-15 days.
How to choose
- Hidden touch: senses through wood or other non-metal panels, no visible switch.
- IR hand-wave: no contact needed, good for kitchens where hands are wet.
- Door sensor: the light follows the door, good for wardrobes and drawers.
- Check the load and the connector your strips use: DC plug, Dupont or SM.

How it is wired
How is a cabinet sensor switch wired?
A low-voltage cabinet switch goes inline between the LED driver and the strip: driver output into the switch, switch output to the strip. Check which connector the driver lead and the strip use, because the switch has to plug into both. The FTM02-A is listed with a DuPont cable; other models use DC plugs or terminal leads.
For profiles, the SPS01D and TD01-M are touch modules that fit inside an LED aluminium profile, and the SCXD-P-02 and YK-SSWA-8mm are hand-sweep modules for 8 mm strips. They save a separate switch box on furniture where space is tight.
The HV-VD100, AC-KZ and FTS-08H switch mains-voltage lights. Wire them with the power off and have the mains connection made by a qualified electrician.
Where should the sensor be mounted?
Mount position decides whether the switch works reliably, so check the listed sensing range against the actual distance in the cabinet. Hidden touch switches sense through the panel: the FTS-04 is listed at 20 mm and the FTS-06 at 40 mm, which is the maximum panel thickness to plan for. Test on your own board, because panel material and density affect sensing.
IR hand-wave switches need a clear line to the hand. The FVH01-A and FVH03-A-V1 are listed at 6-10 cm, so place them where a hand naturally passes but a pan or a cabinet door does not. Door sensors face the door edge: the FVD05-A is listed at 8 cm, the YTSMK001 at 5-8 cm and the YK-MK1001-S at 3-7 cm.
Body and motion sensors cover a wider area. The SCXD-P-01 is listed at 0-3 m with a 120° angle, which suits walk-in wardrobes and pantries rather than single doors.
How do I size the load on a 12V or 24V cabinet switch?
The switch limit is a current limit, so the wattage changes with voltage. A switch rated at 3A carries 3A x 12V = 36W at 12V and 3A x 24V = 72W at 24V, which matches the YK-SSCM01-SMDC listing of 36W at 12V and 72W at 24V. A 5A rating gives 5A x 12V = 60W at 12V.
Many listings show two figures, such as 60W / 100W on the YTSMK001 and FVD03-A-V2, or 60W at 12V / 100W at 24V on the FTM01-C and YK-SMK001. Read the first figure as the 12V rating and the second as the 24V rating unless the product page says otherwise, and size the strips against the voltage you actually use.
What mistakes cause call-backs on cabinet lighting?
Common errors: a hidden touch switch behind a panel thicker than its listed range; an IR hand-wave switch aimed where a door or a reflective worktop triggers it; a single-door sensor fitted to a double-door wardrobe instead of a double-door model such as the YTSMK001, YK-MK1001-S or FVD03; and a 12V-only model such as the FTM01-B or FVD04-A-V2 on a 24V driver.
On multi-cabinet kitchens, wiring each cabinet to its own switch can leave lights out of step. The MW.RF10.03 wireless master-control set and the LYZ-1512-CM-CenB centralised door sensor are listed for controlling several cabinets together.
What can be specified for OEM cabinet switch orders?
The listed range already covers connector type, cable length, housing colour, dimming with fade (FHS-02A / FHS-02B, FTM01-B, FTS-06H1), single-colour or 3-colour control (YK-SSCM01-SMDC) and detachable sensor heads (YK-CX). Send your cabinet drawing, strip voltage and connector, and we confirm which model and options fit.

Frequently asked questions
Which cabinet switch should I use?
Use a hidden touch switch for a clean panel, an IR hand-wave switch where hands may be wet, and a door sensor switch where the light should follow the door.
Do hidden touch switches work through metal?
No. They sense through wood, MDF, stone and other non-metal panels. For metal furniture use an IR or door sensor switch.
Can one switch control several strips?
Yes, as long as the total load stays within the switch's rating. Some models also support master control of several cabinets.
Can a cabinet switch control strips in more than one cabinet at the same time?
Yes, with a master-control set. The MW.RF10.03 wireless sensor switches and the LYZ-1512-CM-CenB centralised door sensor are listed for linking several cabinets so their lights act together.
Is there a hands-free option without IR or touch?
The SLYZ-VS-001 is listed as an offline voice-control switch for 12V or 24V DC LED lights with a 60W load. Ask us for the supported commands and languages before specifying it.
