Why buyers source mirror switches with built-in power supply from us
Switching and mains-to-DC conversion sit in one body, so there is no separate driver to mount behind the glass.
Most models are 12W, the YT24WD gives 24W.
Standard models start at 2 pcs, ship in 7-15 days and can be mixed in one order with the strips and cords you need.
How to choose
- Use these when the mirror has no separate LED driver: the switch takes mains input and outputs DC to the strip.
- Order the plug or mains voltage of your market (110V or 220V class).
- Check the output power against the length of LED strip on the mirror.

How it is wired
How is a switch with a built-in power supply wired?
The mains lead goes into the switch unit, and the low-voltage output goes straight to the LED strip. There is no driver in between, so the unit's output rating is the limit for the whole strip on the mirror. Listings such as the TSP-001 family show an EU plug as standard with a US plug on request, which suits mirrors sold as plug-in products.
Several product pages in this range list 12V DC in the input field even though the unit is sold as having an internal supply. Before you wire a sample, confirm with us whether the model you chose takes 110V, 220V or both on its input, and that its output is 12V DC.
Any work on the mains side should be done with the power disconnected and by a qualified electrician. Keep the mains lead and the low-voltage strip wires apart on the mirror back and fix both so they cannot rub on the glass edge.
How much LED strip can a 12W or 24W unit drive?
Divide the rated output by the strip's watts per metre to get the maximum length, then stay below it. On 12V the output current is the wattage divided by the voltage: 12W ÷ 12V = 1A, which is why several 12W listings state a 1A maximum. The YT24WD at 24W gives 24W ÷ 12V = 2A at a 12V output.
If the mirror needs more light than one unit delivers, use a separate driver and a low-voltage mirror switch instead. Splitting one strip across two built-in-supply switches gives two separate keys, which is rarely what the user expects.
Which model fits the space behind the mirror?
Size and depth decide the choice on slim mirrors. The TSP-001 / TSP-001D measures 73 x 46 x 13 mm. The YT12WD measures 93 x 65 x 13 mm, and the TSP-001D-2412 and TSP-001-2412 measure 120 x 90 x 13 mm. All three sizes share a 13 mm depth, so the deciding factor is usually the area available on the mirror back.
Glass range also differs. Most models are listed for 1-5 mm glass, the YT12WD for glass of 5 mm or less and the SSY-T-01 for 1-7 mm. Listed IP ratings run from IP20 on the TSP-001 to IP22 and IP23 on others.
What goes wrong with built-in power supply switches?
The most frequent problem is overloading: a mirror with more strip than the unit's output, which leads to flicker, heat in the switch body or a unit that shuts down. Measure the strip length on the actual mirror, not the drawing, and recalculate when a customer asks for a larger size of the same design.
Other mistakes are pairing a CCT strip with a single-colour model, ordering the wrong plug for the market, and fitting a 220V strip switch to a 12V strip, or the reverse. The two families are not interchangeable.
What can be specified on OEM orders?
From the listed variants, you can specify plug type (EU or US), cable length (1.2 m is listed on the TSP-001-2412), housing colour (white, or a black case with white cable), indicator colour (white or blue light) and single-colour or CCT output. Tell us the mirror size, strip type and market, and we confirm the model and options that fit.

|---|---|---|---|
| Single-colour touch with internal supply | Finger touch through the glass | Small backlit mirrors with one white strip | TSP-001, TSP001, TSP-001-2412 |
| CCT touch with internal supply | Touch keys step through colour temperatures | Mirrors with tunable-white strip | YT24WD, TSP-001D-2412, TSP-001 / TSP-001D |
| Hand-sweep with internal supply | Hand movement near the sensor | Mirrors where a no-touch control is wanted | YT12WD |
| Dual-key touch dimmer | Two keys behind the glass | Mirrors needing separate on/off and dim keys | SSY-T-01 |

Frequently asked questions
Why choose a switch with a built-in power supply?
It replaces two parts with one, so the mirror needs less space behind the glass and fewer connections.
Which plug types are available?
The listings show EU plugs as standard with US plugs on request. Tell us your market and we confirm the plug for the model.
How much LED strip can it drive?
Divide the rated output power by your strip's watts per metre. Each product page lists the output rating.
Can one built-in power supply switch run two mirror strips?
Yes, if both strips are the same type and their combined load stays within the unit's output. Add the watts of both strips and compare the total with the rating on the product page.
Is a built-in power supply switch the right choice for a large mirror?
Only if the strip load fits within the unit's output. Most models here are rated at 12W and the YT24WD at 24W, so a larger mirror with more strip usually needs a separate driver and a low-voltage mirror switch.
